REFLECTIONS AND GOALS
Online Mat Pilates Class Description:
Happiest new year! It’s the first week of 2019 and it’s that resolution time. But, instead of this being about how many times you’ll commit to doing your Pilates. What if instead we used this class as a marker and a goal setter? What if as the class goes on you see just how far you can go and make a note of where you want to get in your practice?
For example: what if you find your roll up rocks but your neck pull has some work todo? This class will help reveal where you rock and where you want to rock a little bit more!
I’ll be layering exercises to help you build from one to the next so you can make some exercise goals!

I had difficulty with holding the control balance , and rolling over . I am probably moving more from the legs than my belly ????? Thanks !
Hi Jeanne, thank you so much for taking class with me. And, I love that you noticed where you were having more struggle than stength. On the Control Balance if you keep rolling over make sure that you are reaching UP with that ceiling leg and not forward. Also, the switch should feel like its coming from your center but your seat should also be in control. This is a good goal for 2019!! xx~LL
Thank you Lesley this was my second day with this one, both days I did a 1/2 hour barre/cardio class first so I really felt the legs today. In side lying series I really concentrated on pressing the bottom leg down and yes it really works that leg, you say it all the time but I guess it finally clicked. (my left side is also my challenging side so keeping it active was a real struggle – the struggle is real haha!) cheers – Lori xoxo
