Hi Lesley ~ I loved this flow mat class, got everything moving plus even a bit sweaty! Although I can physically (and really want to) do all the moves there are some that I’m not supposed to be doing at the moment so I just modified where needed!
cheers, xoxo Lori

hi Lesley – What a great class! I have a question: Jack knife – I have weirdly long legs and short torso, and I really struggle with not letting the legs go past my eyes… Do you think physics have anything to do with my struggle?

Hey Steph, you’ve asked the right person! Have you seen how long my legs are?! Do you use a mat with handles? I can now do Jackkife without handles when I travel but to be honest I am way more successful when I am “reaching” into my handles. I also recommend you focus on the flexibility of your thoracic spine (arm series on the spine corrector) and strength of your upper back so you have something to stand on. And, then do the best you can! You might just do part. Also, if you have a Cadillac do your Tower exercises! ANd then have patience. You will do it someday!

Magic Teaser ???? Love to know what that looks like XXX

Hi Sue, omg it’s the best Teaser!! I teach it alot in our online classes on the Mat so you’ll see it there for sure! It’s yummy! I’ll try to put it out in one of the next “try this tuesday’s” on YT if you’re a subscriber to my YT channel you’ll see it!

Hi Lesley-
My knees are not enjoying the thigh stretch part of front splits even with some extra padding. I tend to skip exercises that out a lot of pressure on knees. I feel like it hurts more than it used to. Are there alignment tips or is this pain unveiling a muscle weakness? I don’t want to stop exercises on knees. Thanks!

Also, last week you went to 2nd gear for an exercise and used a block. I am on a balanced body studio reformer and realized (after googling geared out) always in 2nd gear with footage in 1st gear notch. I am 6ft tall. Have I been in the wrong gear for way too many years without knowing?

*footbar, not footage!
