LET’S GET CONNECTED!
Online Mat & Reformer Pilates Class Descriptions:
Have you ever thought of your Mat as a piece of equipment? If not, after this week’s class, I hope you do! Because it truly is. And, if you’re a Reformer lover, I know you think of your Reformer as a piece of equipment. But, do you truly connect to the carriage, handles, foot bar and springs?
This week we are going to explore how we are connecting to our equipment in each exercise. Are we pushing it off of us, or away from us? Or, are we using it to support us?
See ya in class,
xx~LL

Really enjoying these mat classes. I like that you pick a focus each week because it’s really bringing different things to my attention each time as to what I need to work on – for now! Today I did 3 decent rollovers which is a huge leap in my personal practice since I started about a year ago more intensely.
I do have one question – my left hip/lower back is significantly weaker than my right and it’s impacting various exercises. With the elbow slip I am super wobbly on that side – how can I improve it? The right side is much more stable.
Amazing!! First, thank you for being a member of OPC. Love that you’re here and that you enjoy the themes. That’s one of my favorite things that we do here. And, YAY about the rollovers. That is a huge leap for anyone. So happy you got to do that.
Great question, I would do the weak side extra then the strong side. So, when you’re taking class you can start with your weak side. do the strong side, pause me do the weak side again and then press play and keep going. Does that make sense? xx~LL
