Online Mat Pilates Class Description:

In life, balance is essential. And, not just so you can balance on one leg to do Tree Pose in Yoga or some other one-legged standing pose in Pilates or fitness. Actually, in your day to day life you have to stand on one leg to put on your pants, get into your car or kick a bag!

We feel how every exercise helps ready us for the Kneeling Side Kicks. You’ll feel stronger when class is over!

Hi Lesley ~ loved it as usual! the kneeling side kicks are tough but I’ve been working on them and they are definitely improving! I have been adding the prep in my mat classes, I know sometimes my clients think I’m kinda crazy but it’s ok. (the reason that I say that is because my clients all have injuries, back/neck/ankle etc. so we don’t do the classical order and there are many modifications but I think it’s still good to give them some fun challenges!) xx LW

I am sure they think your crazy but one day they’ll miss a step and be soooo glad they know how to balance! I recently took a friends class and she reminded me we have 6 planes we can put our body in and we need to practice balance in all 6 planes. That prep is sooo good for so many people. And, it works obliques, shoulder connection, and hips! I am soo happy you are having fun with it xx~LL

That was my first time doing a class. Really enjoyed it nice and snappy. I have lots to work on but I think showing up (even though I’m still in my house) is half the battle. Don’t ya think? Thanks, all the best.
