A LITTLE WEIGHT AND A LOT OF CONNECTION!
Online Mat & Reformer Pilates Class Descriptions:
This week, our first week adding in the Reformer classes we are bringing a little Reformer to our Mat! If you have 1 lb. weights bring them with you to your mat. We will be incorporating the love of Rowing and some other Reformer exercises to your Mat practice as we have been the last couple weeks in honor of Spring and the springs on the Reformer. These exercises are designed to help you get more connection to your back and your mat!
And, for those of you taking Reformer class, welcome to the first Reformer class on OPC! This week’s class we will focus on what’s connecting to where. While it seems easier to work on these connections on our Reformer there are so many places where we can disconnect that it makes for a fun flow!
Grab your mat and or Reformer and let’s get ready to flow!

Connecting shoulders to the back. Has a lot to do with how much we “keep our stomach off our legs”.
Queues work great. Let’s leep building that back LL.
Isn’t that crazy Joel?!? It’s not just about putting the shoulders on our back but supporting our torso so that our back can hold on to our arms! I love geeking out on this stuff! Have fun the rest of the week building your back! xx~LL

Thank you Lesley ~ Oh yay my back is on fire! I just finished the mat again to prep for my mat class at 5:30. Love the rolling to teaser and boomerang! I may have one or two that will try it with me this evening.
I did the reformer this morning to prep for my morning reformer class! They loved everything I added in, especially the elephant then taking a leg and opposite arm off (kind of an elephant that became a bird dog – haha). xx-LW.
I loved how well both workouts paired with each other & providing the prep for control balance off was such a great way to make that particular exercise seem not so scary! I’m not quite ready to make that jump but now I have some tools to play with until then. Thank you so much!
Woohoo! I love this win! And, I totally hear you. I remember the first time I saw it I thought…that will never be me. And then one day it was. Just let it happen when you’re ready. And, know, that you don’t have to get back on the way you got off. That can be its own journey another day! xx~LL
