Roll Up, Over and Like A Ball!
Online Mat & Reformer Pilates Class Descriptions:
When I’m needing a little movement or I’m in a tight space I can always find room to Roll Up, Over and Like a Ball! And, sometimes I wonder how my day would be different if I did these in bed before I got up.
Yep, these are the things I think about!
So, this week in our Mat class we will focus on these 3 exercises. How to do them better, even how to do them when you can’t do them and how they prepare us for soooo much more in our Pilates practice!
In our Reformer class, we will add these into our Reformer practice and see where else they show up!
I know these exercises are not our favorites but they are sooo essential. So, let’s get them done!

Hi!
I love this class! I didn’t realize what I could actually do! Boomerang wow!
I wonder about breathing though, sometimes when I am concentrating on what I am trying to do, I completely forget to breathe. Do you have any advice, please?
Amie Schantz
YASS!!! you Did Boomerang! Love it Amie!
Great question, because these classes flow that should help you start to notice that you’re holding your breath. When you move slow it allows you to hold your breath. Moving a bit faster will make you aware that you’re trying to do that so it might sort itself out. But, unless I give a breath cue the important thing is to just breath. When we walk we let it flow. Same as Pilates. However, if you want some rules to think about to help you break this breath holding habit -Inhale on extension, Exhale as you flex, Inhale to sit tall, exhale to twist. Let’s check in on how your flowing breath goes as the weeks go on! xx~LL
Thanks!
I am stuck in a hotel this weekend but still found a way to make this class work. Maybe I didn’t get a full range on side kick but I did get down with the teaser combos! Thanks Lesley!
YASS!!! Yay Stacey! I know what you mean about side kicks in hotel rooms. But, sometimes there is a lot to learn in having a smaller range of movement. Glad you did you combos! Get it girl! xx~LL
Hi Lesley – Awesome as always, thank you! I just finished the reformer rolling class, lots of fun! xoxo~Lori
Where is the OPC members only group located?
Hi Susie, I saw you already found it on Facebook – but for future reference you can always find it when you first log into OPC and go to your account dashboard. There’s a link on there.
