Online Mat, Reformer, Cadillac & Wunda Chair Pilates Class Descriptions:
Balance is the equal distribution of weight. We work on this from the time we are born and for the rest of our lives. Pilates helps with this in so many ways. All the exercises help us find the balance within so we can continue to move efficiently and smoothly as possible. Each apparatus brings different challenges to our balance. You can also see which side is doing more than the other and work on the imbalance. Your abdominal connection or connection to center is really key to finding your balance. Let’s have some fun exploring what this is for you on any given day.
On the Chair, we will explore different single leg standing variations as well as working on balance on top of the chair. Creative variations coming at you for this one!! Prop needed: Reformer box. If you do not have one, you can use a small stool, stacked pillows, or a small plastic box – just to rest your feet on for a couple exercises.
