There are 5 spine shapes in the Pilates method: Flexion (Round), Tall, Extension, Side Bend and Twists. This month we are focusing on one of the toughest shapes Rounding. You might be wondering why it’s such a tough shape. But the truth is most people sink into a round shape. Or they round their shoulders forward to create a round shape. In this month’s extended workouts we are going to be focusing on where we are rounding from and the exercises that support us creating this shape. Have no fear we will still find extensions and or shapes here.
