Workout: Foam Roller – From Massage to Balance and Everything In Between with Christine Kam-Lynch
Many of us are most likely familiar with using a foam roller for massage and myofascial release, and we’ll definitely start there. I also really love this as a tool to either support or challenge your Pilates workout. Exercises like the hundred, roll up, roll over, swan, thigh stretch, shoulder bridge, leg pull front, and more! There’s a whole balance element that we’ll explore lying on the roller, seated on the roller, and standing on the roller. All to help increase our core strength, test our stability, and enhance our proprioception. Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to sprinkle in some stretches during this workout. By the time we wrap, we’ll improve our flexibility, range of motion, and be more mobile.
