OPC TEAM WORKSHOP: SWAN & SWIMMING
Pilates helps us rock the 5 spine shapes we need to feel tall, take on adventure, and tie our shoes. But, there are exercises that challenge us all. For some of us extension, back-bends can be tricky. We either feel them in our lower back or overdo it in our neck and shoulders. Which can leave us feeling like “why am I do this again?”
Swan and Swimming on the Mat are key exercises for helping us strengthen our entire core. But, facing gravity ain’t easy! And, when you need the benefits of extension these two exercises can have you feeling like you’ll never be able to do it.
In this 2-hour OPC team workout and workshop, you will:
- Do a 30-minute Mat workout that will build you up to Swan and Swimming
- Learn tips and strategies from me, Rachel Piper, Tami-Adrian George, Mindi Westfall, Christine Kam-Lynch, and Lori Watson.
- Repeat the 30-minute workout using the tips, tools (props) and strategies that worked best for you
- Compare yourself to yourself and celebrate what you did do!
