OPC friends! Let’s give a huge round of applause for our Member Spotlight of the Month, the wonderful @Elizabeth !! 🎉💫
Elizabeth has been such a beautiful part of the OPC family, and we’re so excited to celebrate her this month! From coming to the Mullet Tour in September and spending two full days with us in Essex, to meeting Lesley and Brad, joining the mat live classes, ordering all of the decks, and sharing so much OPC love on Instagram — her support and enthusiasm truly mean the world to us. Thank you, Elizabeth, for your warmth, encouragement, and for being such a bright light in this space. We are so happy you’re here!
We had to shorten her response a bit to fit in the graphic, but we wanted to share her full message here so you can read every wonderful word! 💛
Here’s what Elizabeth shared about her OPC journey:
“After having the wonderful opportunity of attending of the UK Mullet Tour and meeting Lesley & Brad I was so inspired. They really are a winning team and a beautiful couple. So down to earth, natural and true to themselves. I really love authenticity and they ooze it, so I completely related as you can only be your true self in life and be confident to show the world you, as you truly are. Surround yourself with like minded people who truly value and appreciate you. Be proud of who you are.
I really love the energy and passion of each OPC teacher. We are all very different bodies and it’s wonderful to see that celebrated and really showing that Pilates is inclusive and for everyone at every stage of life. It’s a community that’s showing up as their authentic selves and that’s so awesome to see. I have built an incredible and loyal community within my Pilates business and the OPC community feels the same. Supportive, encouraging, championing our wins and a safe place for all to ask any questions our heart desire without being judged for not knowing! Thank you Lesley and Brad for keeping it real and for providing such a wonderful space for all and can’t wait to see you in London in April xx”

I just did the 45 min monthly mat class, Breathin with @Lesley . First, I LOVE this theme, because I’m definitely one to obsess over I’m breathing correctly, and this helped me so much! I was fascinated to see that my body instinctually breathes “correctly” for lack of a better term. It was also so funny to me how with some moves I could adapt to different breathing and with others, my body was like NO! I did NOT like exhaling on bridge. It was SO helpful when you explained how inhaling to shoulder balance for moves like seal, crab, etc. Also – listening to the Zoom discussion – I’m totally down for a book club FOR SURE, and people who have read this novel – tell me your mouth tape suggestions. I’m like you, Lesley. I tried one brand and was fine for awhile…then I had a horrific reaction to the adhesive and had these little bumps all around my mouth for WEEKS. Thank GOD it was summer. I think the heat made the reaction worse.
ANYWAYS, hope everyone’s 2026 is off to a great start.
Just bumped into @Vanita Vanita Wolf at The Pilates Journal Expo in Huntington Beach!
Thanks Tami-Adrian for the great tower class. Loved the paddleboat work, those creative knee stretches and my favourite the elbow slip work, especially the part with the roll up bar and then on the mat, adding in extending opposite leg.

Happy Friday! What’s your Pilates win this week?!
Mine? I got to take a wunda chair class this week, which was wonderful! A chair class always has me feeling like a beast, especially since we did the full mountain climber series in class! 🦵
Your turn!
I have a question, friends. I’m Classically trained, I teach privates and duets in a small room that I rent in a studio. I’ve purchased 2 used Balanced Body Studio Reformer/tower combos (along with 2 wunda chairs, spine corrector, etc) to get me started in my business. My question is, is it worth it to replace the ropes and risers with leather straps and pulleys?? I prefer the leather straps (that’s what I trained on), but is it a need?? My husband says, “Go for it! Don’t over think it!” but I’m in my head about spending ANOTHER 1K….thoughts? Basically…I need y’all to convince me that it’s ok and I’d be happier with having what I really want. Welcome to my lizard brain!! 😖
🎉 Happy FYW ya’ll 🤩, this morning we started off with @youngke , Ainsley, Lauren Barker and myself we are on a mission to do all the OPC 45 min monthly classes – so today we decided to do ‘breathin’ with Tami-Adrian George on the cadillac/tower! Lots of fun work, really loved all the arm work 💪 and if you love exercises with rolling and articulation definitely be sure to take the class. After we had a great discussion about the class and the challenge of breathing out of the mouth or staccato breath since we are so used to ‘in and out through the nose’ from eLevate. Unfortunately Lauren Barker needed to leave class early so the only picture with her is when were starting to move, sorry Lauren 🤦♀️, but we know you were there for as long as possible . Thank you as always to our wonderful @lesley.logan for giving us the opportunity to come together 😘. 🐸
New Weekly Classes dropped!
“Swan Lake” with @lesley.logan 🦢
Swan is hard! Let’s be real, it’s so easy to over do it in the neck or lower back. And, it’s also an important exercise as it helps us understand all extension exercises in Pilates, opens our heart and importantly trains our muscles to help our posture!
This week, let’s open our hearts, pull our shoulders wide and feel good doing it!
Props needed: Dowel
