“Lean on Me” with @lesley.logan ✨A while back people got really into wall Pilates. And, while most of the exercises weren’t Pilates, Joe Pilates did give us some Wall exercises to help us understand our bodies more. Leaning on a wall or in our case using a wall to feel how our spine naturally lifts or rounds, is key for helping us be curious in our practice. We’ll be using a wall in the beginning of our workouts. But, don’t underestimate the power of your Mat and Carriage being a wall.
No props needed as our walls and equipment will be our tools.
Today I passed my final written exam for my 600 hour classical Pilates instructor certification through CPE! After two years of constantly working it, I’m done! OPC has been so great at keeping me motivated to finish. While I know the learning never truly stops, I’m looking forward to taking classes just for fun with no pressure of memorizing or performing in a particular way. Let the fun begin. 🎊💖 Thanks for helping me along the way, OPC!
Happy Friday! What’s your Pilates win this week?!
Mine? I’ve been in LA all week visiting family, and going on various adventures, but was able to fit in at least 10-15 minutes of mat work when I could! Definitely helped when I walked over 20k steps at Disneyland 😅!
Your turn!
🎉 OPC fam! It’s time to celebrate our newest Member Spotlight of the Month, the amazing Ainsley!
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting Ainsley—whether at one of the multiple Cambodia retreats she’s attended, through Agency, or most recently at the eLevate retreat in Las Vegas—you know just how much love and energy she brings to this Community.
@lesley.logan , @brad , and @Meridith were all so thrilled to see her in Vegas, and it’s clear that Ainsley truly embodies what it means to be part of OPC: showing up fully, supporting others, and growing with grace and grit. 🌟
Let’s all give Ainsley a big virtual hug and thank her for being such a shining light in OPC! 💬👇
And don’t forget—you can always nominate someone for our next spotlight! 💫

“One Hit Wonder” with @Rachel 1⃣
We are in a no judgement zone this week as we fly through the orders doing just one rep of each exercise before moving on!!!
Our “1 rep drill” theme is in its 4th year, so it’s basically tradition to do class this week. It’s also been a favorite because I add in some accessible options for everyone to try.
If you’ve done this in the past, you know the Mat order goes FAST – so we’ll be doing a few rounds with props and no props. You can do the whole class or you can pick your favorite round and just do that! It’s a week filled with CHOICES!!
If you’ve done this in the past, you know the Reformer order is LONG – so I cut just a few moves throughout to be as close to 30 minutes as possible. Again, I added accessible options throughout, so everyone can go through the order!!!
Remember we want you to embrace your own journey each time you practice and love practicing in your TODAY body!! If that means you follow my variations, perfect! If that means you do your own variation, also perfect!

I have the 80″ Jay Grimes Contrology Reformer. I was recently doing an online follow along class with other people who had classical reformers. We got to Swakatee and I could not even open the springs! Is swakatee more challenging on an 80″ in comparison to 86″ or am I just that weak?? I do have the Baby Arm Chair and will prioritize swakatee there.
I completed my Pilates space! I love it and find it so inviting.
