Sparklers with the Light Weights
The dynamic movements of Sparklers with the Light Weights is more challenging to your center than you might think. It’s so tempting for the lower back to push forward as the arms lift up. See how high you can lift your arms without arching your back. Remember to stand in your legs!
As arms go up pull center back!
Standing tall with your heels together and toes slightly apart. Hold one or two pound weights in each hand. Reach your arms straight ahead shoulder distance and height. Hugging legs together and lifting center up.
Working your arms from your upper back begin to circle your arms small and swiftly as you lift your arms up for 3-8 circles. Going only as high as your arms work from your back and your center doesn’t arch forward. Then circle small and swiftly to lower the arms. Repeat for 2-3 sets.
