Hundred V1 on the Spine Corrector
Checking in on your Pilates Hundred can happen on many different Pilates apparatus! Trying it out on the Pilates Spine Corrector can be a way to challenge your Hundred! Or, to use it as a way to warm up so you can start your Pilates practice on your Spine Corrector. However, you choose to use it. Remember the Hundred on the Spine Corrector is a great way to reveal what is possible and what is going on in your Hundred. So always give your Mat Hundred a check-in!
Work your waist longer rather than your legs lower.
Sit on the apex of the barrel facing sideways. Round your back along the apex so your tailbone is at one edge and the tips of your shoulder blades are on the other. Pull your knees into your chest, Heels together, toes and knees apart. Arm reach long by your side as you curl your chest up and look at your abdominals. Reach your legs out to the high diagonal or as low as eye level depending on your practice.
Inhale as you pump your arms for 5 and exhale as you pump your arms for 5. Repeat for 10 cycles of breathing. Then bend your knees into your chest and sit up or go into the Ab Series.
