This week, I thought it could be fun to practice starting at the beginning. Focusing on the "start" position of each exercise and then flowing through. Maybe this will help us practice "getting going."
Online Mat Pilates Classes
$5 weekly Online Mat Pilates Classes offered by Lesley Logan, a Pilates Instructor in Los Angeles. Each 30-minute class is live for 7 days, starting at 2pmPST on Tuesday each week and are then replaced by the next week’s class. You may watch the current class as many times as you would like, any time of the day!
On the Mat, we will focus on length, strength, side plank and of course some other sideways rocking and rolling. Reformer lovers, you know we will have to do some Star and Side sit ups. But, where else can we connect to your side waist? Lets all find out!
On the Mat we will explore what we are rocking, rolling and how long our Plank is. And, on the Reformer, we will be grateful for the support of the springs, carriage and more as we see how many planks we can fit into this flow.
Just like Hip Circles, Horseback is one of those exercises that we can use to reveal what we need to explore more of in our bodies and where we are rocking!
This week we are going to explore how we are connecting to our equipment in each exercise. Are we pushing it off of us, or away from us? Or, are we using it to support us?
On our Mat and Reformer, we will explore more of the asymmetrical exercises and then challenge what we've learned by doing exercises that are symmetrical. You may have to work a bit more through one side!
When I'm needing a little movement or I'm in a tight space I can always find room to Roll Up, Over and Like a Ball!
Shoulder Bridge can seem like a piece of cake from first glance. But, then you get in there and it's not what you think!
