Big Toe & Circles with the Toe Corrector
Pilates often has exercises that require use to find coordination and strength. Exercises that challenge our muscles and our mind and body connections. The Pilates Toe Corrector is no different. When doing the Toe Corrector Circles, work the spring in both directions. And, use the whole foot to assist you!
Work the spring from your outer hips! Use the whole body.
Typically done from Out and In or Point and Flex. Sitting tall with legs out straight in front of you. Toe Corrector around the big toes either at base or near tip. Choose based on what your feet need. Flex the ankles and work the toes to the ceiling. Arms long by side and if possible hands pressing into the mat. Sit tall.
Combine the work from the Out and In and Point and Flex. Open the spring from your outer hips, hold the spring open and point both feet. With feet pointed close the spring and flex the ankles toes to the ceiling. Repeat.
Then reverse, point the foot with spring closed, open the spring with pointed feet. Hold the spring open and flex both ankles. Repeat.
